As a Corporate Client Platform Engineer at Dropbox, you’ll be part of the core team that keeps client infrastructure redundant, scalable, and secure. The position will entail getting your hands dirty crafting the backend systems that Dropboxers will depend on as the company continues to grow. You should be comfortable seeing a project through from start to end. You should be able to identify areas for improvement, research the best way to solve the problem, be able to describe to others why you chose the approach you did, and then implement the solution. You should be both a thinker and a doer. You dream big and then make things happen.


  • Keep the corporate client fleet running and scalable as we grow

  • Research and deploy new technologies that improve corporate operations and the productivity of Dropboxers

  • Maintain corporate clients, add capacity as needed, and plan for the future

  • Help create and improve procedures for on-boarding users across our various systems and services

  • Provide support for issues escalated from our IT Helpdesk

  • Create design docs and support Runbooks for deployed solutions

  • Requirements

  • 2+ years of applications and systems implementation from start to finish

  • 5+ years of experience of Windows server and client administration

  • 4+ years of experience with Active Directory administration

  • 2+ years scripting experience (Powershell, bash, python, etc.)

  • Experience with windows software and configuration management (SCCM, GPO, OpenSource alternatives)

  • Experience with Puppet

  • Current experience with VMWare ESX/ESXi

  • Love for automating all things

  • Experience with Mac or Linux Administration (strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with Business VOIP, VPNs, networking technologies, or Google Apps (strongly preferred)
