As an IT support specialist at Stripe, you’ll work with and support Stripes at every level of the company. You’ll work to build our first Help Desk, and will play a critical role in laying the foundation on which Stripe IT scales. You’ll be the first point of contact for internal technical support, and you’ll make sure technical issues never hinder the productivity and creativity of Stripes around the world.

You will:

  • Support and troubleshoot issues with Apple computers, videoconferencing systems, phones, tablets, network equipment, and more.

  • Design, update, and maintain IT documentation.

  • Create a process for identifying and prioritizing a wide range of technical issues across the company.

  • Be proactive about pinpointing ongoing technical problems and fixing them.

  • Promote security and secure behavior at Stripe.

  • Help maintain a physical inventory of IT hardware (computers, peripherals and accessories).

  • Work closely with our onboarding team to ensure new hires have all the equipment they need from day one.
  • Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be eager to help, empathetic, and enjoy communicating with people of varying levels of technical knowledge.

  • Have at least 2 years experience working in IT, and at least 6 months of experience supporting Apple products.

  • Be a naturally curious and creative problem solver with a desire to learn and develop your technical skills.

  • Be an outstanding written and verbal communicator.
