The Role

We’re looking for a technical expert to join our incredibly talented Tech Ops team. You’ll help scale and support billions of data bits for our millions of customers. You’re a self-starter who can work independently but also collaboratively to support the greater Monkey good. How you solve the most difficult system engineering challenges can shape the future of SurveyMonkey’s infrastructure. Geeks need apply.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience working as a Salesforce Administrator with an implementation of at least 100 users

  • Hands on Experience with System Administrator Privileges within Salesforce.com (With all the caution and forethought that implies!)

  • Apex and VisualForce development



  • An understanding of the following:


  • Force.com IDEs (Eclipse or Sublime)

  • Git source control

  • Rapid Account Creation/Termination



  • Provisioning experience with:


  • License

  • Object Access

  • Row Access



  • Experience with integrated third-party applications (e.g Apttus, Zuora, Workday, etc).

  • Succeeding with troubleshooting complex role permissions issues



  • Advancing and introducing best practices to create and configure:


  • Role hierarchies

  • Sharing rules

  • Profiles, etc



  • Familiar working in sandbox environments for development / testing and familiar with sandbox refreshes.

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (201) or Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (401)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to explain Salesforce configuration details in simple, everyday language to stakeholders at all levels of the company.

  • Resourceful problem-solving with a curious mindset and strong attention to detail.
